A perfect project for anyone new to bargello, this cozy is easy to make and can be completed in a weekend. The pattern includes instructions to make all four variations shown; you choose one to make with the included materials.

Very easy to learn, great colors, my gift recipient loved it!

I should have bought the whole kit! I bought just the pdf pattern thinking I could just buy the supplies (I also wanted to do my own colors). I am a total beginner and ended up buying the wrong size plastic square thing! It ended up being a big learning curve by trial and error that would have been solved by buying the whole kit. If you are a brand new but stubborn like me, I would recommend buying at least one kit so you can get familiar with the products first! The actual instructions were very clear. I would say it would be helpful to have the "how to stitch" instructions at the beginning rather than the end. I didn't realize they were there and tried to just wing it myself, and then later after starting scrolled down to find them. It's very nice that you include them for those of us who aren't familiar with really any kind of needle work, but putting them at the top vs. the bottom, or at least closer to the beginning, OR a sentence that says, for instructions on how to start a stitch, etc. scroll to this page, might be more helpful. Excited for my jewelry box kit to come!

I am obsessed. The kit came with everything I needed (and maybe enough tapestry wool for a second project). It was easy to learn and instructions were clear, including the videos. I can’t wait to start my next project (after I gift this one to my niece, who says her favorite color is rainbow).

So easy to do, and now my mini orchid is so cozy!
