Hello Bargello

My first (of golf to be many) projects and I love it! Relaxing, fun and though I can't wait to be finished, will be sad when finished. If you're hesitant - just buy... Zero regrets!

I just finished my 3rd Bargello Box subscription project and I LOVED it! When I received my first box, I had never done Bargello, or any embroidery. The videos and directions are so helpful and it is great for this perfectionist to find joy in the imperfections of my work.

So fun and easy to make. It went really quickly too. I finished it while listening to a book. Be sure to read the instructions. You have to remember that the back side will be visible for the flap.

It is well made and beautiful.

I love the Woodland theme! From the mushroom coffee samples with coupons to the little wooden magnetic mushroom needle minder. My favorite thing in the kit has to be the mug rug. Looking forward to stitching the caddy next, they don’t scam on what comes with your kits!

I absolutely loved making this bag! The pattern was easy to follow, and I love how beautiful my bag turned out. Hello Bargello has definitely sparked a new love of Bargello for me. I’ve already picked out my next project and can’t wait to get started! 💕

The August box was perfect!! I couldn’t wait to start mine. I have only completed the caddy right now but it’s so cute. I happened to have some matching stationery. Can’t wait to bring it into the office. Such cute fall vibes.

Fun easy project that incorporates Bargello and needlepoint stitches.

My first crack at this. This was a really fun project to do while getting my bi-weekly chemo infusions. It definitely kept me relaxed and I had something colorful and fun to distract me. It’s not without a few mistakes but for my first go at it, I think it’s pretty good. I decided to use the gold/yellow color for the finishing and I think it gives it some extra flare. Now I just need to decide what Bargello project to do next!

The idea of the Bargello Box is terrific - a cool project plus some lovely bonuses, showing up at your home every few months. The current box includes a super-cool project and some techniques new to me. I'm not a cute-woodland-critters-and-plants person so the actual design didn't appeal to me as much as it probably does to most people.

On the good side, the instructions are VERY clear and the videos on the website are helpful. As a former technical writer I can say that achieving clear instructions is not straightforward or easy.

Anyway I am making it as a gift to someone I know will love the design. And I'll have the pattern to use with different designs in the future.

Bottom line: like it a lot and am looking forward to the next Bargello Box.

This is my first kit order of the subscription box. I was so excited when I opened it because it has mushrooms and I absolutely love mushrooms, so I’m really excited to get started on it. 🤩
